Men’s body building

Men‘s Bodybuilding Division will be judged through a series of poses that will allow the judges to evaluate not only individual body parts, but also the “whole package.” Athletes are required to wear a bodybuilding posing suit.

Bodybuilding Criteria

Muscle mass, proportion, condition hardness, and definition is also evaluated

JUDGING Criteria

Men‘s Bodybuilding Division will be judged through a series of poses that will allow the judges to evaluate not only individual body parts, but also the “whole package.”

 

Bodybuilding judging takes into consideration the whole body from top to bottom, not just one body part. The Judges are looking for the “total package.” including conditioning, muscularity, symmetry, and presentation.
 

Athletes are required to wear a bodybuilding posing suit.

Men's Body building classes

Classes may be split based on the athlete's weight into different classes. The weight classes might be as follows; 70KG-, 75KG-, 80KG-, 80KG+

The height/weight class numbers are displayed for reference purposes, we will change/adjust according to the average height / weight of the competitors who have signed up.

* smaller divisions like teens, juniors, masters, might have fewer classes as the number of contestants are fewer.

  • First Timer
    A first timer is someone who has never competed before in any division or class. For example, if you have competed in mens physique before and wish to compete in bodybuilding then you are no longer a first timer.
  • Teen
    A teen is an athlete who is 16 years old - 19 years old and 364 days (20yo under) on the day of the competition. Competitors who are 20 years old on the day of the competition are not eligible to compete in the teen class.
  • Junior
    A Junior athlete will be 20 years old - 23 years old and 364 days (24yo under) on the day of the competition. Athletes who are 24 years old or older on the day of the competition are not eligible to compete in the junior class.
  • Novice
    A Novice is an athlete who has never placed in the top 3 of a competition in any previous season. Your status as a novice lasts the duration of a season. Athletes who have won a regional, national title, or competed internationally as a teen, junior, masters or men’s physique competitor are not eligible to be considered a novice. Please note: Novice are not eligible to join the OPEN category.
  • Open
    This is a Pro Card winning class 🏆
  • Masters
    Athletes over the age of 40 are eligible for the Masters bodybuilding class.
  • Grandmasters
    Athletes over the age of 50 are eligible for the Grandmasters bodybuilding class.
